Description

You'll develop and implement sourcing strategies for capital and construction projects at SpaceX, working with internal stakeholders to optimize value, reduce costs, and manage supplier performance. You'll drive cost reduction initiatives and handle contract negotiations from RFP to completion.

Requirements

• Advanced degree or bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, supply chain, or construction management; or 6+ years without degree
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SQL, PowerBI or similar tools
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work extended hours/weekends as needed
• Experience in industrial/construction cost estimation and budget tracking preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for capital and construction projects
• Create sourcing strategies to reduce risk and meet purchasing targets (payment terms, cost savings, on-time delivery)
• Draft, negotiate, and manage capital and construction contracts from RFP to completion
• Identify and execute cost reduction projects, including planning, stakeholder coordination, and project updates
• Perform market analysis, benchmarking, and advanced quantitative analysis for assigned categories
