You'll own and evolve the Bazel build system for a multi-language robotics codebase. Your work will enable fast, reliable builds across a complex platform integrating software, hardware, and AI. This role offers a chance to shape build infrastructure for a humanoid robot being brought to market at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and evolve the Bazel build system for a multi-language robotics codebase
• Design and implement remote caching and remote execution infrastructure
• Develop and maintain Starlark rules, macros, and toolchains
• Optimize build and test performance across local and CI environments

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience including Bazel
• Deep expertise in Bazel build systems at scale in production
• Proficiency in C++, Python, Go, or Java
• Experience with remote execution systems like Bazel RBE or Buildbarn

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with robotics systems or embedded software
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of hermetic builds
