💼 About This Role

You'll protect the company and agents in professional liability matters while architecting expansion into new markets. You'll balance rigorous legal analysis with high-velocity startup needs. This hybrid role requires 2 days per week in SF.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Represent company and agents in E&O lawsuits and disputes.
• Lead legal playbook for launching in new geographic markets.
• Review and draft complex vendor agreements.
• Advise on compliance with RESPA, Fair Housing Act, and MLS rules.

📋 Requirements

• J.D. from a top-tier law school with active CA bar membership.
• 7+ years of legal practice.
• Experience in licensed real estate brokerage and high-growth tech startup.
• Deep understanding of professional liability and E&O claims.

• Bar membership in additional states.
• Training at a large law firm (Big Law).
