💼 About This Role

You'll develop the legal and regulatory strategy for a rapidly growing healthcare clearinghouse, turning complexity into a competitive advantage. You'll own the full legal function alongside our Head of Legal, from commercial agreements to compliance and fundraising. This is a rare opportunity to shape market outcomes in a space previously dominated by legacy players.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and execute regulatory and legal strategy with payers
• Lead competitive and enforcement matters to defend Stedi's interests
• Build legal frameworks for novel data products
• Use legal expertise to identify growth opportunities and accelerate deals
• Own full legal function: contracts, disputes, compliance, IP, employment, and fundraising

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience between law firms and in-house roles
• Significant in-house experience, including managing litigations and disputes
• Deep healthcare experience strongly preferred (or other heavily regulated industry)
• JD and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
