Description
As a Changeover/Stagehand, you will reconfigure arena and concourse layouts between events, performing tasks like laying basketball floors, building stages, setting up chairs, tables, and risers, and operating motorized equipment. You'll work as part of a team to ensure safe and efficient event setups.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of semi-skilled labor or related experience
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Complete changeovers and stagehand work including laying basketball floor and building stages
- Arrange arena facilities for exhibitions, conventions, sports events, and other entertainment
- Set up chairs, risers, tables, dance floors, and show equipment
- Load and unload trucks for event set-ups
- Operate motorized equipment such as forklift, scrubber, and trash compactor
