Description
You will lead the accounting function of a major sports and entertainment company, overseeing financial reporting, audit coordination, and internal controls. You will build scalable processes and a high-performing team to support a complex multi-entity business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA strongly preferred
- Experience at a top national accounting firm
- Experience managing accounting and financial operations at a complex multi-entity organization
- Proven ability to build scalable processes and lead teams
Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, consolidations, and financial statement preparation
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP across all entities
- Oversee external audits and serve as primary contact for auditors and advisors
- Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Provide technical accounting guidance for complex transactions and business initiatives
