Description

You will design and develop robust data models and pipelines to support data ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions that empower data-driven decision making across SoFi's financial services products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years experience in data engineering and analytics technical strategy
• Proficiency in Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Python, SQL, GitLab, AWS, Airflow, DBT
• Experience managing end-to-end data engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data architecture

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models and pipelines for ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval
• Evaluate and select technologies for scalable data infrastructure
• Optimize systems to handle large-scale data sets with horizontal and vertical scaling
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver data solutions
• Enforce data governance policies for integrity, security, and compliance
