Description

You will lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes for cutting-edge Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). You'll own Design for Manufacturability, tool design selection, process optimization, and quality planning, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to rapidly iterate and build next-generation subsea robotics.

Requirements

• Degree in technical field (engineering, math, hard science)
• 3+ years experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware
• Demonstrated ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in fast-paced environment
• Technical leadership skills with manufacturing expertise
• Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly)

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment
• Design and optimize production processes for efficiency, scalability, and quality
• Create and review technical drawings, blueprints, and process maps
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve quality
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Design, Quality, Supply Chain) for smooth production ramp-up
