Description

You will design and validate electromechanical systems to keep autonomous vehicle sensors clean, working cross-functionally to prototype and scale solutions to mass production with global manufacturers.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in automotive ADAS or sensor development
• Strong background in mechanical design, fluid dynamics, robotics, or mechatronics
• Proven experience in hands-on test campaigns
• Skilled in solid modeling CAD (ideally CATIA V6) and GD&T per ASME 14.5
• Experience working with suppliers, ideally automotive OEMs or Asia-based contract manufacturers

Responsibilities

• Design and validate electromechanical components for sensor cleaning (rain, snow, ice, bugs, dirt)
• Design surrogate test infrastructure to simulate weather and contamination sources
• Integrate sensor cleaning solutions with ADK components and OEM vehicle interfaces
• Hands-on prototype next-gen cleaning systems in lab, track, and real-world conditions
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to scale production and manage suppliers
