Description

You will own Power BI reporting, work across complex data environments on a VA program, and help drive the team's AI-forward data strategy by building dashboards, writing SQL queries, and developing Python scripts.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of Python development in Databricks or Microsoft Synapse
• 5+ years of SQL (DML) experience in Databricks or Microsoft Synapse
• 2–5 years building Power BI reports and dashboards across varied data sources
• Working knowledge of Power BI DAX and data modeling best practices
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports connected to multiple data sources
• Writing and optimizing SQL (DML) queries in Databricks or Microsoft Synapse
• Developing and maintaining Python scripts and pipelines in Databricks or Synapse
• Authoring DAX measures and calculations to support reporting logic
• Supporting AI/ML data initiatives aligned with VA's data strategy
