💼 About This Role

You'll own the architectural integrity and field robustness of Teleo's autonomy retrofit system for heavy equipment. Your work will span hardware, software, robotics, and AI, with a focus on system-level integration across multiple platforms. This role offers 10% travel within the US.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead system-level integration architecture for new vehicle platforms
• Define scalable, reusable integration frameworks across equipment types
• Design and review mechanical structures, enclosures, and compute integration strategies
• Own environmental qualification strategy (IP, thermal, shock/vibration, EMI/EMC)

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years in mechanical, mechatronics, or vehicle systems engineering
• Experience designing systems for harsh environments (automotive, construction, etc.)
• Experience with environmental qualification (IP, thermal, shock/vibration, EMI/EMC)
• Experience integrating high-power compute platforms in vehicle environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Direct experience architecting modular hardware systems for diverse vehicles
• Proven track record transitioning hardware from low-volume pilot to high-volume production
• Experience with PLM systems and managing engineering changes (ECOs)
