Description

You will develop and implement advanced non-destructive evaluation inspection solutions for Starship's structures and propulsion systems, integrating automated systems to enable high-rate production and ensure mission success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics
• 1+ years of hands-on technical engineering experience (internship or school projects qualify)
• Knowledge of NDE techniques such as ultrasonic, eddy current, or digital radiography testing
• Experience with software and automation coding (Labview, Python, C#, SQL)
• Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends, and travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions
• Design, prototype, and implement nondestructive sensor systems
• Interface with engineering teams to align inspection requirements and capabilities
• Support automation initiatives to increase probability of detection and reduce cycle time
• Define integration test plans and drive cross-functional design discussions
