Description

As a Civil Engineer at Cook Systems, you will develop designs, technical specifications, and cost estimates for buildings and infrastructure, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with standards. You'll collaborate with architects and engineers, inspect facilities, and solve complex engineering problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field such as Construction Engineering
• 7-10+ years of experience
• Broad professional knowledge of engineering theories, concepts, principles, and standards
• US citizenship and TS/SCI security clearance or ability to obtain interim Secret within six months
• Ability to travel (25%)

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary and final designs, design analysis, technical specifications, and cost estimates for new construction, modifications, and repairs
• Design buildings, water supply, distribution and storage, storm drainage, and other facilities
• Coordinate with architects and engineers from other disciplines for project compatibility
• Review plans and specifications for adequacy and feasibility
• Participate in final on-site inspections and conduct facility inspections for structural integrity and compliance
