💼 About This Role

You'll perform thermal analysis and own thermal design for cutting-edge defense hardware. Your work directly enables rapid prototyping of systems for air, land, sea, and space. You'll collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to validate designs from concept through production.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop first-order analytical models using hand calculations and MATLAB/Python
• Build CFD simulations to predict thermal and fluid behavior
• Maintain and correlate integrated FEMs for imaging platforms
• Perform test-model correlation and prepare technical reports

📋 Requirements

• MS or higher in engineering or applied physics with heat transfer focus
• 7+ years in thermal analysis or thermo-physics role
• Thermal FEA experience with STAR-CCM+, ANSYS, Icepak, or Flotherm
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for analysis and data processing

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of climatic/dynamic testing and instrumentation
• CAD skills and engineering drawing experience
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 or equivalent
