💼 About This Role

You'll lead a rapid prototyping lab, turning sketches into working prototypes using 3D printers, CNCs, and other tools. You'll have wide latitude to create the process and manage the shop like your own startup. This role offers freedom to build the lab and access to Re:Build's network of experts.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Turn vague ideas into working prototypes
• Operate and maintain 3D printers, CNCs, mills, lathes
• Lead and mentor a small team of engineers and technicians
• Manage shop budget, safety, materials, and uptime

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years building physical things in aerospace, robotics, or similar
• Fluent in CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion, Rhino) and CAM
• Deep understanding of materials and fabrication methods
• Experience leading teams or labs
