💼 About This Role

You'll design and support outside plant (OSP) telecommunications infrastructure for a leading technology-enabled asset management firm. Your core impact will be engineering fiber and copper network facilities that ensure reliable telecom services. You'll collaborate with municipalities and stakeholders to deliver FTTH, DSL, and Metro-E solutions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform detailed OSP engineering for copper and fiber networks.
• Develop engineering designs for poles, conduit, and buried facilities.
• Prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and technical reports.
• Track project budgets and compare estimated versus actual costs.

📋 Requirements

• Experience designing OSP telecom infrastructure including fiber and copper.
• Understanding of right-of-way acquisition and permitting processes.
• Ability to identify existing voice/data plant in site plans and field.
• Familiarity with PC applications and CAD systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with FTTH, DSL, Metro-E, SONET technologies.
• Knowledge of National Electric Safety Code (NESC).
• Field engineering tools including measuring wheel and height stick.
