You will own full-cycle recruiting and build People systems as the first People hire at an AI startup fixing public procurement. Work directly with founders to scale the team from 10 to 50+, designing onboarding, compensation frameworks, and light-touch processes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in talent acquisition or people ops at a high-growth startup
  • Track record hiring technical and commercial talent in competitive markets
  • Think holistically about talent and business outcomes
  • Default to action over perfection
  • Based in Berlin or willing to relocate

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering, GTM, and operational roles
  • Build foundational People systems: onboarding, compensation frameworks, performance systems
  • Run team operations: coordinate calendars, book travel, organize offsites and remote work weeks
  • Handle operational backbone: manage contracts, payroll, and compliance across multiple countries
  • Act as thought partner to founders on hiring strategy and closing critical hires
