Description

In this role, you will deliver exceptional claims service by inspecting and estimating automobile physical damage, preparing estimates and total loss evaluations, and negotiating with vendors. You'll work in a hybrid environment, reporting to the Team Leader Auto Appraiser, and help ensure timely resolution of claims.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an auto appraiser
• ICAR ongoing training and/or Platinum certification preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of automobile repair procedures and ability to identify damages
• Strong technical understanding of Audatex estimating, car design and vehicle systems
• Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Review estimates from vendors, recommend opportunities and negotiate changes
• Inspect vehicles, prepare estimates, and complete damage appraisals
• Complete government salvage branding forms and total loss evaluations
• Assist Claims Advisors with estimate explanations and appraisal problem solving
• Manage indemnity and severity to ensure estimates are reasonable and fair
