You'll build the core infrastructure powering OpenAI's monetization and ads systems, architecting large-scale distributed systems for reliability and privacy. Your work will enable safe, scalable monetization primitives that support OpenAI's mission. This is a greenfield opportunity to drive 0→1 infrastructure development in a fast-moving cross-functional team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build backend infrastructure for monetization and ads systems
• Architect large-scale distributed systems with strict reliability and privacy requirements
• Develop APIs, infrastructure services, and internal platforms
• Drive 0→1 infra development through rapid prototyping and iteration

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems
• Experience designing mission-critical systems with demanding reliability and performance requirements
• Strong systems thinking in architecture, data flows, and operational concerns
• Comfortable defining technical direction in ambiguous 0→1 environments
