Description

You will work with global business partners to provide regulatory and commercial legal advice on innovative insurance programs, including drafting policies and contracts, advising on compliance, and supporting claims. You'll help shape Airbnb's insurance offerings across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements

• J.D. degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 6+ years legal experience including 4+ years insurance regulatory experience
• Experience in U.S. and exposure to Canada, EMEA, or APAC
• Creative, adaptable, business-oriented
• Fast-paced dynamic environment experience
• Concise, practical legal advice delivery
• Strong risk identification and assessment
• Proactive problem-solver
• Excellent communication skills
• Global team collaboration in virtual environment
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on insurance regulatory requirements
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts and insurance policies
• Advise design, content, marketing and UX teams on insurance products
• Stay up-to-date on insurance, advertising, and consumer protection laws
• Support claims and related processes
• Draft legal guidance on insurance legislation
• Respond to regulatory inquiries
• Act as subject matter expert on insurance issues
