Description

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Braze, you will collaborate with engineering teams to architect scalable and reliable infrastructure, debug complex issues, and improve automation. You'll be on call to respond to incidents and drive system improvements, ensuring Braze meets strict enterprise-grade SLAs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer
• Strong systems thinking about interfaces, boundaries, and failure modes
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix Shell and programming with Ruby or Go
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform or similar IaC
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, or Postgres

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to architect scalable, reliable infrastructure
• Debug reliability and scalability issues across all stack layers
• Make monitoring and alerting focus on symptoms, not outages
• Develop infrastructure as code using Chef, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Be on PagerDuty rotation to respond to incidents and prevent future issues
