💼 About This Role

You'll manage, optimize, and secure large-scale databases for an AI-powered platform. You'll work with engineering teams to design high-performance database systems that power our platform. This role is based in Lisbon with relocation support.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain high-performance database systems.
• Optimize queries, indexing, and partitioning for performance.
• Monitor database health and ensure high availability.
• Manage SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a DBA or similar role.
• Expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
• Strong knowledge of database optimization, indexing, partitioning, and replication.
• Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Aurora, Google Cloud Spanner, Azure SQL).

• Experience with scripting for automation (Python, Bash, SQL scripts).
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and DevOps integration.
• Knowledge of data governance and GDPR compliance.
