💼 About This Role

You'll lead Webflow's global privacy and product legal strategy, partnering with Product and Engineering to embed privacy-by-design into development. You'll advise on AI-powered features and emerging technologies, scaling compliance programs for a remote-first company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead global privacy and product legal strategy.
• Manage and develop a team of privacy and product counsel.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on privacy-by-design.
• Advise on AI features and emerging technologies.
• Lead privacy reviews, PIAs, and data subject requests.

📋 Requirements

• J.D. from accredited law school and active U.S. state bar membership.
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience, including 3+ in-house at a tech company.
• Demonstrated experience managing and scaling legal teams.
• Deep expertise in global privacy law including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA.

✨ Nice to Have

• CIPP/US and/or CIPP/E certifications.
• Experience advising on AI, ML, or emerging technology products.
• Hands-on experience with privacy compliance programs.
