Description

As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will plan and lead person-centered programs to enhance well-being for residents in assisted living and memory care, fostering engagement through group and one-on-one activities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality of life and maintain documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in recreational therapy or related field

Responsibilities

• Provide opportunities for therapeutic self-expression for residents at all stages of memory loss
• Facilitate programs to reduce isolation and behaviors associated with dementia
• Create a positive environment respecting diverse backgrounds
• Motivate residents to participate in programs to maintain cognitive function
• Complete documentation including attendance, care plans, and activity notes
