You'll define rack- and cluster-level reference architectures for AI infrastructure deployments at OpenAI. You'll translate workload requirements into system designs and drive vendor roadmaps to close technology gaps. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Define rack- and cluster-level reference architectures for AI workloads.
• Translate workload requirements into system design specifications.
• Collaborate with performance modeling teams to evaluate tradeoffs.
• Align partners on critical system attributes (performance, cost, power).
• Identify technology gaps and drive vendors to close them.

📋 Requirements

• System architecture experience for large-scale infrastructure.
• Understanding of AI workload characteristics and system design.
• Experience working with or managing hardware vendors.
• Track record of turning ambiguous requirements into executable designs.

• Experience defining rack/cluster-level systems for hyperscale or AI.
