💼 About This Role

You'll drive the clean-sheet design of the GNC system for our satellite buses at Apex, a fast-growing startup. Your work will enable earth observation and communications missions that shape the future of society. You'll collaborate with a tightly integrated team to push the limits of spacecraft performance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and implement GNC algorithms for satellite systems.
• Conduct spacecraft dynamics analysis and simulations.
• Design and test control systems including reaction wheels and thrusters.
• Collaborate with spacecraft and payload engineers for system integration.

📋 Requirements

• U.S. Person status required for export control.
• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of professional GNC engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, Python for numerical simulation.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with STK or other orbital mechanics tools.
• Knowledge of satellite bus design and integration.
• Familiarity with GNC hardware like star trackers and gyroscopes.
