Description

You will build the software platform that powers optimized control and market participation of battery energy storage systems. You'll work across the full stack—from compute infrastructure to real-time optimization—on a lean, high-standards team.

Requirements

• 2-5 years software engineering experience
• Strong software design instincts—systems thinking, first principles, distributed systems knowledge
• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate development without compromising quality
• Excellent collaborator with clear communication
• Bias toward action and ownership across team boundaries

Responsibilities

• Contribute to BESS data engineering—telemetry pipelines, feature ingestion, and storage for forecasting/optimization
• Design, build, and maintain simulation and training infrastructure for running simulations at scale
• Develop and operate real-time forecast and optimization workflows that drive BESS operations
• Support energy market integration including data ingestion and bid management
• Collaborate across the full stack and team boundaries to ensure product coherence
