Description

You will work with the Scout team to identify suppliers, establish sourcing strategies, lead the sourcing process from strategy to contract award, and manage supplier industrialization during pre-production. Your role ensures that cost, quality, and delivery objectives are met while preparing contractual documents and nomination agreements.

Requirements

2+ years in purchasing with category strategy experience
Experience managing supplier performance and stakeholder relationships
Program management experience
Knowledge of automotive or manufacturing industry
Effective communication across all levels

Responsibilities

Identify suppliers and participate in pre-sourcing audits
Establish sourcing strategy and lead sourcing process up to contract award
Manage industrialization at suppliers to meet timing, cost, and quality requirements
Evaluate and apply technical changes to ensure cost, quality, and delivery objectives
Lead cross-functional evaluation of supplier mass-production readiness
