Description

You will own key components and subsystems from concept through mass production. This is a dynamic role at a rapidly growing startup where you will be a foundational member of the Mechanical Engineering team, optimizing designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 1-5 years of experience in fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environments
• Strong engineering fundamentals and first principles thinking
• Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks or NX

Responsibilities

• Own hardware design aspects for performance, high-volume manufacturability, and cost
• Gather requirements and translate into engineering architectures and decisions
• Perform detailed design trades using CAD, FEA, prototyping, and first principles
• Lead design reviews and create high-quality engineering drawings
• Root cause hardware failures and manufacturing issues
