Description

You will provide speech therapy to seniors in a home health setting within 1-2 communities, conducting evaluations and developing treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in Maryland
• Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA or equivalent
• Solid computer skills, EMR preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties
• Develop treatment plans based on evaluations and physician orders
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care
• Document observations and interventions using electronic medical records
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning
