💼 About This Role

You'll join EOS IT Solutions to repair and restore fiber optic infrastructure for high-availability networks. You'll perform fault isolation, splicing, and testing on single-mode and ribbon fiber cables. This role offers the chance to work on critical network restoration for global industry leaders.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform fault isolation and repairs on fiber optic cables and connectors
• Conduct single and ribbon fiber splicing in vaults and splice cases
• Operate OTDR, OLTS, power meters, and fusion splicers for testing
• Maintain repair records, test results, and compliance documentation

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of fiber optic repair, splicing, and restoration experience
• Proficient with OTDR, OLTS, fusion splicer, and inspection scopes
• Deep knowledge of single-mode and multi-mode fiber types and connector standards
• Experience with live-network restoration and adherence to SLAs

✨ Nice to Have

• FOA CFOT or BICSI Technician certification
• Experience with high-count ribbon fiber systems (864+)
• Familiarity with GIS, ticketing, and fiber management databases
