💼 About This Role

You'll design, improve, and manage market and liquidity risk for Hudson River Trading's strategies during Asia market hours. You'll work closely with risk, trading, and business teams to gain exposure to automated trading. This role offers a wide remit across trading styles and investment horizons.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor pre-trade, market, operational, and liquidity risk across asset classes
• Partner with Operations Trading to investigate and resolve risk limit breaches
• Design risk controls for trading strategies to control market and liquidity risk
• Analyze historical data to calibrate risk thresholds and build risk models

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years as a trader or risk manager at a trading firm or hedge fund
• Strong understanding of trading strategies including market-making
• B.S. in mathematics, physics, economics, or related field
• Working knowledge of Python, Linux, and SQL

• Experience with options strategies and tail risk modeling
• Background in quantitative finance or algorithmic trading
• Familiarity with risk monitoring tools and automation
