Description

You will own the design, development, and delivery of mechanical hardware for next-generation space science avionics platforms, including enclosures, mounting structures, and thermal accommodations, ensuring hardware survives launch and space environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 6+ years experience in mechanical design and thermal management for aerospace or ruggedized electronics

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, and delivery of avionics mechanical hardware
• Design enclosures, mounting structures, and thermal accommodations
• Solve complex thermal and structural challenges in tight, mass-efficient packaging
• Perform analysis and testing for flight-ready avionics systems
• Rapidly iterate on designs in a prototype-heavy environment
