💼 About This Role

You'll own the systems and standards that keep our production floor running cleanly, including work instructions and process plans. You'll work directly with manufacturing engineers to translate validated processes into clear, accurate, and maintainable written artifacts. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role at a fast-growing startup backed by $200M in Series D funding.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Document validated processes into clear, standardized work instructions and procedures.
• Maintain documentation library with revision control as products evolve.
• Develop standardized templates for work instructions, process plans, and NCR write-ups.
• Own organization and ongoing maintenance of manufacturing Confluence space.

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a technical writing or documentation role in manufacturing.
• Strong technical literacy — comfortable reading engineering drawings and process documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear written documentation for non-expert readers.
• Experience with MES, ERP, or PLM systems in a production environment.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing.
• Familiarity with AS9100 documentation requirements.
• Experience with Confluence, SharePoint, or similar knowledge management platforms.
