💼 About This Role

You'll own the full design and engineering of BESS construction projects for a battery supply chain leader. You'll drive projects from concept to production, enabling rapid scaling of energy storage infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects through design phases.
• Coordinate permitting and construction documents with stakeholders.
• Own design funding, schedule, and project resource requirements.
• Lead feasibility studies, value engineering, and options analysis.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in BESS or utility-scale energy projects.
• Deep understanding of grid-scale energy storage technologies and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical system design and interconnection requirements.
• B.S. in Engineering (preferably Electrical) or equivalent experience.

✨ Nice to Have

• PE or RA license preferred.
• Experience with BIM and lean construction principles.
• Knowledge of UL 9540/1973/1741, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, IEC.
