💼 About This Role

You'll join a team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex, providing structural engineering for nuclear facilities. You will develop design packages, perform walkdowns and field support, and apply structural analysis using codes and standards to ensure mission-critical infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop detailed design packages with engineering procurement and field support
• Prepare conceptual engineering deliverables like cost estimates and design criteria
• Perform walkdowns in plant facilities to generate design documents
• Provide technical expertise in structural engineering principles and codes

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET accredited school
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance

✨ Nice to Have

• Active Professional Engineering (PE) license
• CAD drafting or 3D modeling experience
• Structural modeling with STAAD Pro
