💼 About This Role

You'll join the ETL Platform team at Fivetran to build and maintain the core platform powering data pipelines. You'll design and implement projects like sync tracking overhauls and manage a scaling fleet of machines for customer data reliability. This hybrid role offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Make valuable contributions to the deepest recesses of our tech stack
• Build and manage a data diffing ETL engine across all data warehouses
• Participate in on-call rotation to diagnose and fix performance issues
• Work with product team to design new features for pipeline observability

📋 Requirements

• Expertise in at least one interpreted language such as Python or Ruby on Rails
• Expertise in at least one compiled language such as Kotlin or Go
• Solid understanding of relational databases
• Proven experience in system integration including API consumption and development
• Familiarity with leading cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake
• Experience with infrastructure management
