💼 About This Role

You'll join the Cloud FinOps team at Hopper, managing large-scale Google Cloud infrastructure. You will drive cost-efficiency projects and participate in on-call rotation for platform incidents. This role offers pre-IPO equity and 100% remote work within Spain.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Drive cost efficiency projects like reducing network egress costs.
• Optimize autoscaling for databases and compute resources.
• Improve cost attribution for team visibility.
• Participate in on-call rotation for platform incidents.

📋 Requirements

• Strong background in SRE, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes and related tooling (Kustomize, Helm).
• Proficiency in Google Cloud services.
• Competent in scripting with Bash and Python.

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Service Mesh (preferably Istio).
• Experience with Observability tools (Datadog).
• Networking knowledge (DNS, TLS, certificates).
