You will ensure the highest quality of Arabic language content across all communications materials, working with a UAE Government client to translate, adapt, and originate content that meets government communication standards. Your role is critical in delivering impactful messaging that resonates with Arabic-speaking audiences across the region.

Requirements

  • Native-level Arabic proficiency with command of Modern Standard Arabic and understanding of regional dialects
  • Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language, Journalism, Communications, Media, or related field
  • Solid experience in Arabic content creation, editing, translation, or localization in agency, media, or government sector
  • Strong English language skills for adapting complex content into Arabic
  • Proven government or corporate communications project experience

Responsibilities

  • Translate and adapt communications materials from English to Arabic, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance
  • Originate high-quality Arabic content based on briefs or English drafts, maintaining consistency in tone and style
  • Edit and proofread diverse content formats including press releases, reports, presentations, and digital content
  • Provide expert counsel on Arabisation and localisation of collateral for target audiences
  • Review daily news publications to ensure content timeliness and relevance
