Description

You will provide rehabilitative care to home health patients, focusing on ambulation, transferring, gait training, and home exercise programs. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will assess patients, develop care plans, and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants. You choose your shifts and locations across Otterbein's various services, with competitive pay and weekend differentials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Physical Therapy
• Minimum 2 years PT experience; home health preferred
• Current Ohio Physical Therapist license or application in process
• Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services according to plan of care
• Assess muscle strength, mobility, gait, ROM, and transfer capabilities
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in therapeutic appliances
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) as necessary
• Prepare clinical and progress notes in timely manner
