Description

You will lead the end-to-end Money platform and product engineering organization at Gusto, owning the technical vision, architecture, and delivery across Consumer Money, Business Money, Accounting, Expenses Invoicing, and Payments. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and compliant financial systems that power how customers move, manage, and understand their money.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering organizations in fintech or high-scale financial systems
• Deep understanding of payments, ledgers, accounting, and financial data infrastructure
• Strong track record in building secure, scalable, and compliant platforms
• Strategic and execution-focused leadership skills
• Ability to modernize platforms and drive product innovation including AI-powered automation

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term technical strategy for the Money platform
• Ensure scalable, resilient, and compliant financial systems across consumer and business products
• Drive platform thinking across payments, ledgers, accounting systems, and financial data infrastructure
• Meet regulatory, security, and audit requirements
• Lead multiple engineering teams and partner with Product, Design, Risk, Compliance, and Finance
