💼 About This Role

You'll own the sourcing lifecycle for custom-manufactured components supporting Xcimer's fusion energy systems. You'll partner with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies and negotiate cost, lead time, and delivery commitments. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Own sourcing lifecycle for custom-designed hardware from RFQ to delivery.
• Review engineering drawings and specs to develop sourcing requirements.
• Identify and qualify suppliers for complex machined or fabricated components.
• Evaluate supplier quotes and negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of sourcing or supply chain experience in manufacturing or hardware.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Experience managing RFQs and supplier sourcing for technical hardware.

• Experience sourcing precision machined components or fabricated assemblies.
• Experience in fusion, nuclear, aerospace, or complex hardware industries.
• Experience performing should-cost analysis on supplier quotes.
