💼 About This Role

You'll build and lead a team of Account Executives and BDRs selling LlamaIndex to high-growth companies, owning pipeline generation and deal execution. You'll set the operating rhythm, raise performance bars, and build systems for a repeatable revenue engine. This role offers the chance to shape the mid-market motion at a leading open-source AI company.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Hire, onboard, and develop a team of 5-6 mid-market AEs and BDRs.
  • Own team pipeline targets, forecast accuracy, and ARR attainment.
  • Run structured deal reviews, coaching reps through discovery, qualification, and close.
  • Build and drive a consistent outbound engine using OSS community signals and ICP segmentation.

📋 Requirements

  • 6–10 years in sales with 2–4 years frontline sales management and team quota attainment.
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle mid-market AEs (not overlay roles).
  • Demonstrated success building pipeline from scratch.
  • Experience selling technical SaaS to engineering buyers (AI, developer tools preferred).

  • Experience building or scaling outbound motion alongside inbound at a developer-first company.
  • Familiarity with OSS-led or community-led growth.
  • Track record of ramping new AEs within 60–90 days.
