You'll own end-to-end sourcing strategy for high-speed interconnects powering OpenAI's global compute infrastructure. Your work will directly enable massive fleet growth and secure supply resilience. This hybrid role based in San Francisco offers relocation assistance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and commercial execution for interconnect category
• Translate engineering requirements into actionable sourcing plans with manufacturing partners
• Drive cost benchmarking and teardown insights to shape cost-down strategies
• Maintain supply readiness alignment across Operations, Finance, and Program Management

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of strategic sourcing in advanced electronics or cloud infrastructure supply chains
• Demonstrated success owning a category at scale including complex negotiations
• Strong understanding of electronic cost drivers like power, PCBAs, connectors, memory
• Proven ability to influence senior Engineering, Legal, and Finance leaders
