๐ผ About This Role
You'll support secure network technologies in a dynamic IT environment within the Department of State, including maintenance, provisioning, and deployment. You'll use network monitoring tools to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, and play a critical role in improving network efficiency.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Monitor network performance and security using NOC tools.
- Respond to alerts, diagnose failures, and implement corrective actions.
- Apply security patches, updates, and firewall configurations.
- Manage and configure routers, switches, and firewalls.
๐ Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- 5+ years experience with network communications provisioning and support
- 5+ years experience in a NOC environment
- Hands-on experience with Cisco switch and router configuration
โจ Nice to Have
- Experience with NeuralStar and Splunk
- ManageEngine experience
- High-level networking certifications: CISSP, CCNA, Security+
