Description

As an EHS Engineer at SpaceX, you will work with a small team to provide technical expertise and implement environmental, health, and safety programs at the Starship rocket development test site. You'll conduct safety reviews, incident investigations, and develop compliance with regulations to ensure safe execution of hazardous operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of EHS experience in design, development, and operational oversight
• Knowledge of process safety management, pressure systems, and chemical delivery systems
• Strong regulatory knowledge and experience with federal, state, local safety/environmental regulations
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR requirement)

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed safety reviews of complex hazardous operations
• Lead or assist in incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Develop and maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, EPA, and other regulations
• Implement health and safety programs (HAZCOM, confined space, fall protection, etc.)
• Conduct environmental compliance audits and develop safety solutions
