Description

As a Senior Thermal Analyst at Anduril Industries, you will take ownership of thermal design aspects across hardware development programs, from conceptualization through production. You'll execute hand calculations and develop detailed analytical models to guide design architecture and support hardware testing.

Requirements

• MS or higher in engineering or applied physics with heat transfer focus
• 7+ years experience in thermal analysis or thermo-physics analysis
• Experience with STAR-CCM+, ANSYS, Icepak, or Flotherm
• Familiarity with Matlab or Python for analytical models
• Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Execute hand calculations, spreadsheet, and MATLAB/Python first-order models
• Develop CFD models and simulations for thermal predictions
• Generate, maintain, and correlate integrated FEMs for imaging platforms
• Perform test-model correlation testing to validate analytical predictions
• Prepare technical reports for internal teams, management, and customers
