Description

You will design and build AI-powered systems for onboarding, feedback, performance reviews, and promotion decisions that make growth continuous and automatic for every Gusto employee. Your work will embed development directly into the flow of work, using AI for reflection, coaching, and skill building.

Requirements

• 10-12 years of relevant experience
• Built something that changed how people actually worked
• Comfortable starting without a playbook and writing one as you go
• Already uses AI as part of how you think and work
• Strong opinions about what good looks like, willing to change them when reality disagrees

Responsibilities

• Own the Gustie growth system from onboarding through executive leadership with AI embedded at its core
• Redesign feedback, performance reviews, and promotion decisions so AI helps people reflect, learn, and improve in real time
• Treat AI as a design partner in growth, deciding where it leads, supports, or humans stay in charge
• Build development into the flow of work with AI reducing friction and surfacing insights
• Prototype, test, and ship AI-enabled changes that improve how people grow
