💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design and launch of advanced manufacturing lines for Archer's eVTOL aircraft battery systems. You'll drive equipment specifications, process development, automation strategy, and production ramp for a critical aircraft system. This role combines deep manufacturing engineering expertise with strong program leadership in a fast-paced development environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Scale battery pack and module production from prototype to high-volume manufacturing
• Collaborate cross-functionally to launch and optimize flightworthy battery pack manufacturing systems
• Own manufacturing stations including process development, controls, and troubleshooting
• Improve workflows, tooling, fixtures, and ergonomics using Lean and 5S methodologies
• Drive process capability through PFMEA, SPC, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or automation
• 2+ years supporting EV battery module or pack manufacturing
• Deep expertise in battery manufacturing processes like adhesive dispensing and cell testing

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience supporting aerospace, EV, or regulated advanced manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with FAA regulations (FAR Part 23, Part 21, or Production Certificate)
• Experience with high-voltage battery systems or automation-intensive manufacturing lines
