Requirements

• Degree in Linguistics, Indigenous Studies, Translation, or related field
• Professional experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work
• Clear and metacognitive communication skills
• High-speed internet and secure computer
• Expertise in Kaqchikel dialects, phonetics, syntax, idioms, oral traditions, and cultural references

Responsibilities

• Converse with AI models in Kaqchikel across diverse topics
• Verify linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance
• Capture reproducible error traces
• Identify model failures in contextual interpretation, tone, and dialectical distinctions
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
